Saturday May 22nd we are rowed to the island in Lake Bled by local boatmen, then spend a leisure afternoon on our own. We have a closing banquet that evening. On the 23rd we are off for home.

flynnpix > Slovenian 50 tolar. We arrived in Lake Bled after night fall. The following day would be our last full day of the tour. Our flight for home would depart early Sunday morning.

flynnpix > Church of the Assumption. Zhiva, goddess of love and fertility was worshipped here in the 8th century.

Quaint Pletna-no motorized boats are permitted on the lake.
